Here at El Centro De Ayuda, we serve families of low-income residents of Los Angeles City. As we continue to deal with many challenges worldwide, prices have increased for almost all essentials. Many families feel the mounting pressures of day-to-day living and providing for their families in Boyle Heights and Los Angeles. At College Corner, we offer a safe space for students in the community to complete their homework and receive support. We also conduct workshops to expose students to different ideas about the outside world. We are raising funds to support our students here at College Corner during the school year and make sure we can provide a space that can expose them to different experiences. Since most of our students in the community have never been to an amusement park, this would be amazing. We would be very grateful and excited for any monetary contributions or in-kind donations.
