During our fall months we gather donations ranging from clothing (socks, hats, scarves) and blankets to help comfort the seniors and remind them they are a piece of wisdom that is rooted in us. We also gift the wonderful staff workers small fun beverages (hot cocoa cups) or snacks (cookies, popcorn baskets, pretzels, etc…) a small token of appreciation to say thank you for your loyal service. During the warmer months (spring/summer) we create fingerpainting packages for the seniors to create flowers to hang on their doors to remind them to blossom daily. Although Rooted for You Nonprofit is small now, the ideas and love we have for our community can not be matched.

We are making care packages for 3 senior living communities that are in low socioeconomic areas that can encourage them to embrace the fall and the beauty of the seasonal change!
