Description
UC Farm Smart hosts an annual Winter Visitor program that attracts approxamately 2500 visitors over 26 days in January and February to the UC ANR Desert Research and Extension Center. The event features a hay wagon ride out to our "you pick" vegetable garden, presentation on local agriculture with lunch, ice cream and door prizes to end the day. Money we raise from this event is used to support our K-12 programs and ensures we can keep the costs low for students.
