The 6th Annual Farm-to-Preschool Festival will take place January 27, 2024 at the University of California Desert Research and Extension Center in Holtville, CA. This unique (and very fun!) event is geared toward children 0-5 and their families/caregivers. The goal of this festival is to increase children’s food literacy and to encourage parents to increase their children’s vegetable intake. Participants will learn where food comes from and healthy eating/physical activity through hands-on activities, resource tables, and vegetable harvesting from the U-Pick Garden.
