Description
Ladies Leukemia League is an all-volunteer organization raising funds for leukemia/lymphoma research. We pay no salaries and keep our overhead at a minimum. Over 53 years, LLL has raised $4.5 million for leukemia/lymphoma research. Our funds are distributed yearly to researchers who apply for a grant through our program. Our annual fundraiser is the Fete de Noel Luncheon & Fashion Show. This fabulous event draws over 1000 attendees and is the highlight of the Christmas season in New Orleans. The event features 3 or 4 children who are facing the challenges of leukemia as well as a New York-style Fashion Show, Raffles, a Parade of Prizes, and Silent Auction.
