Ladies Leukemia League, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization (we do not pay any salaries and keep overhead costs to a minimum) dedicated to raising funds to help find a cure for leukemia/lymphoma. Founded in 1970, Ladies Leukemia League annually awards all funds raised to leukemia/lymphoma research scientists via a grant program to which they apply. Over the past 52 years, we have raised over $4 million in the hope of finding a cure for leukemia/lymphoma. Our only fundraiser is our Annual Fete de Noel Luncheon and Fashion Show held in December in New Orleans, LA. This event is the premier opening to the holiday season and is enjoyed by over 1,000 attendees. The event features a New York-style runway Fashion Show by Dillard's and features three or four area children who are facing the challenges of dealing with leukemia. The event also includes Raffles, Parade of Prizes and a Silent Auction.
