Fire Fest is a yearly fundraiser for our volunteer fire department. We have a BBQ cook-off contest, silent auction, kid zone, helicoptor landing event, fire trucks for kids to explore and to learn fire safety. This year we are doing the event on Halloween to also provide a safe place for kids to trick or treat. All of this is being done with social distancing, face coverings, and practicing good hygiene. Last years event raised $9,500.00, which allowed us to purchace new gear and a small hand full of new tools. This year we are hoping to raise enough money to purchace a side-by-side rescue veichle for forest rescues and EMS needs.
