On 25 May of this year, David Cooper, Lt Col, USMC (Ret), who is the Vice President of Operations at our National Marine Toys for Tots Foundation offices had sent out a notice to all our Campaigns across the country, including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. His notice was to advise everyone that out of the six regions across our country, our local San Angelo & Concho Valley Campaign had won the honorable distinction of being named as the 2022 Campaign Coordinator of the Year within our region for our dedication and excellence in efforts raising toys and funds in order to distribute nearly 204,800 toys and books to over 25K children in need located throughout the fourteen counties we served. As our coverage area has expanded exponentially; growing from serving approximately 3000 children in need in three counties covered in 2016 to fourteen counties in 2022, we continue to reach out for assistance from local small businesses, franchises, corporations, and any public or private donors in order to make sure we can serve as many children as possible each year. Thus, we are hoping for any assistance acquiring prizes, give-aways, raffle and/or silent auction items that may assist our Five Star Nationally Rated 501(c)(3) in our efforts to encourage and increase participation in order to create a successful event.
