To Whom it may concern, 

Fishers Students In Action is a non-profit student-led service club based at Fishers High School in Fishers, Indiana. We strive to better the community and leave a lasting impact on those around us. Our latest project is taking a step to merge both our school and our community. We are doing a school-wide Day of Service, which is a day where all students and staff go out into the community and participate in service work, whether this is mulching, planting trees, repainting houses, etc. we are doing this not only to implement service into students lives but also to give back to a community that has given us so much. In order for us to execute this large challenge, we need to fund it. Money needs to be put towards providing transportation to our service sites, providing lunches to kids who need them in the school, as well as providing resources for some of the service projects (making homeless kits for example). 

In order to obtain this money, Students in Action is hosting a Gala in early March that will double as a fundraiser as well as an award ceremony. We will be awarding community members with Jefferson Awards - which stand for impeccable service and dedication towards their community. We will also be having an online fundraiser as well as a Silent Auction in order to raise our goal of $15,000 for this event. 

On behalf of Fishers Students In Action, as well as the Fishers High School Student Body, I ask that you consider donating something to our silent auction in order to fund this experience. The event will take place on March 10th from 6:30-9:30 at Conner Prairie.
