Tampa Housing Authority (THA) is hosting our Fishing Tournament Fundraiser on April 8th at Hubbard's Marina. At the event, fishermen will go deep sea fishing and have their fished cleaned and cooked for them to enjoy. In addition, fishermen have the opportunity to win raffle items as well as awards like "Biggest Fish" and "Most Fish Caught".
All proceeds from this fundraiser will be directed to our afterschool and summer programs. THA provides tutoring, homework assistance, enrichment programs, recreational and sports activities for Tampa's youth from low-income families. Previous fundraisers have enhanced these programs and allowed us to provide the youth with STEAM related activities and field trips such as the Florida Aquarium, Glazer Children's Museum, and Zoo Tampa. To continue these programs, THA needs your support, and operating without it would be difficult or even impossible.
