Friends for a NonViolent World (FNVW) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to champion nonviolence as the foundation for effective programs and actions to promote the dignity of every human being. We seek a world free from violence and the threat of violence. Since our beginning in 1981, FNVW has demonstrated the transformational power of nonviolence at the personal, community and institutional levels.

Every year, in order to fund our programming, we offer the Friends for a NonViolent Holiday Fair on December 2, 2:00-9:00 p.m. and December 3, 10:00 - 4:00 p.m. that draws in hundreds of attendees and ensures that we are able to continue our violence prevention and social justice work into the future.
