Fredericksburg Preschool, Inc. (FPI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, secular, parent-run and play-based cooperative preschool located in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. The members and teachers of FPI are pleased to have served the children of the greater Fredericksburg area for 46 years. Our motto is “creating a lifetime of learning...right from the start.” Our teachers, as well as our member parents are involved in every aspect of running the school: scheduling field trips, assisting in the classroom, fundraising, cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring the school meets Virginia state licensing regulations. Being a cooperative, FPI is unique in that students have more frequent contact with their parents, lower tuition, and families have more transparency and involvement in school matters.

We will be hosting our 8th annual online auction from April 5-7, 2024. This event is open to the public and draws bidders from the Fredericksburg area and well beyond. Last year we raised over $4,000 due to the generosity of our bidders and people like you who donated items to our auction. This year we are hoping to increase that amount! This would enable us to keep our tuition fees reasonably priced, buy playground equipment for the children, support our scholarships for families in need and support our quality educators with yearly bonuses.
