We are proud to inform you that the JMU Physician Assistant Student Society (PASS) is excited to host the Healthcare for Harrisonburg: Helping the Unhoused Fundraising Gala on November 9, 2024.

The Gala will be an evening of generosity and support, dedicated to supporting the local  Open Doors, Our Community Place and Healthcare for the Homeless: Suitcase Clinic; all cornerstones of unhoused and homeless care accessibility in our community.

The evening will include dinner, an online silent auction, music, and more!

OPEN DOORS

The mission of Open Doors is to provide safe shelter for the unhoused, as well as compassionate support and access to services for all in the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community. Since 2007, Open Doors has been the area's trusted provider of low-barrier shelter for the unhoused and support services.

OUR COMMUNITY PLACE

Our Community Place is a community and resource center for the unhoused of Harrisonburg. Their mission is to build a safe, loving community of restoration and hope for all, especially those facing homelessness and other adverse experiences.

The Healthcare for the Homeless: Suitcase Clinic delivers essential health services directly to those in need within local homeless shelters. Their dedicated team serves anyone experiencing homelessness in the Harrisonburg area, regardless of their insurance status.
