Dear local merchant,

The Riverhead Charter school will be hosting its 2nd annual Gala Fundraiser on April 12, 2024 at the Vineyards at Aquebogue. Money raised from the Gala will be used to create a scholarship fund. Last year we were able to raise $14,000. Our goal this year is to surpass the $30,000 mark. In order to reach that goal the Riverhead Charter  school is in need of donations of gift cards/certificates, gift baskets, or items to be included in a silent auction at our fundraising gala. 

The Riverhead Charter school is a public school of choice servicing over 700 students  in grades K-12.  Riverhead Charter school provides education and support to families in over 20 Long Island towns including Riverhead, Shirley, Mastic, Bellport, Middle Island, Yaphank,  Ridge, Gordon Heights, and Wading River.

Many of the Families supported by the Riverhead Charter school are from low income households. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch, many also receive food weekly from our food pantry and backpack meal program.

These donations are crucial in helping our students attend college. Without this scholarship fund, many of our students would not have the financial flexibility to attend the college of their choice to receive a higher education.

All donations will receive an honorable mention in our gala program to show your support in this cause.
