Description

Pathways to Housing PA is proud to host our Furnished for Good on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Cherry Street Pier. This unique event will showcase the teamwork and creativity of prominent local artists and designers who take inspiration from our Philadelphia Furniture Bank(PFB) to create original works of art. The furniture and artwork will be auctioned via a digital platform, which will open for bidding two weeks prior to the event.

The Philadelphia Furniture Bank is a centralized resource for furniture for human service organizations from across Philadelphia. We work collaboratively with other agencies that support people experiencing homelessness, victims of domestic abuse, refugees/immigrants, youth exiting foster care, reunified families, and victims of natural disasters. PFB allows people to move into their new homes faster, without having to wait until they’ve saved enough to furnish the home themselves, and to focus on healing, finding employment, strengthening their families, and rejoining their communities.

By donating to our Furnished for Good, you are generously helping individuals and families receive much needed furniture. Your support will enable us to furnish the homes of nearly 1,000 families every year, which creates the stability and dignity that everyone deserves. Given the increased difficulties the pandemic has thrown to all of us, it's more important than ever to ensure that individuals and families exiting homelessness have the furniture they need to turn a house into a home.

Your donation will be acknowledged by giving recognition in digital marketing materials for the event, including website and social media. Pathways to Housing PA’s digital reach includes: An email list of approximately 4,500 subscribers in the Greater Philadelphia area and approximately 4,800 followers on Facebook, 1,200 on Instagram, 1, 100 on Twitter, and an average of 10,000 site views per month.
