Gable Heart Beats (GHB) was started in the honor of my husband and daughter. My husband, age 38, passed away very suddenly from heart failure, a condition known as HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy). Two weeks after my husband passed away, my daughter went into heart failure, but miraculously survived and suffers from DCM, dilated cardiomyopathy.   She was 11 months old.

GHB, is a Bay Area non-profit heart organization, started in their honor and raises funds to fund heart screenings for kids and ultimately save lives of those may not know they have an underlying heart condition. In our family’s case, we had no idea about a heart issue. 

We are having our event on March 22, 2024, at 3 Steves Winery in Livermore.  It is going to be a wine & charcuterie event, live music, silent auction, wine pull and live fundraising to help raise money for our cause. 

 If you were able to make a donation for our silent auction we would be very appreciative.   All the proceeds raised will help fund heart screenings for kids with an EKG and Echocardiogram or purchase AEDs for schools in need.  Currently, we have 25+ schools all over the Bay Area who need AEDs.  Each AED costs us about $2000.  We’d love to fulfill all these requests.
