Please join HABLA for Gala La Bamba, our tenth annual fundraiser and gala benefiting River Glen's dual language immersion program. Gala La Bamba will be a rockin’ good night of music, food, outdoor dancing, silent auction, and plenty of fun and entertainment being held at Club Auto Sport on Saturday May 6th, 2023.

This is our most important fundraising year yet as we bridge the gaps stemming from the global pandemic. Our students deserve a rockin' recovery that includes every resource available. Please consider donating an item to our silent auction! 

Your donation ensures that our children receive the highest quality educational experience, including music, art, a state-of-the art library, and special programming and activities for all students.

About River Glen’s Spanish & English Dual Immersion Program

River Glen School, located in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, offers K-8 students the unique and exciting opportunity of learning to communicate fluently in two languages, Spanish and English. It is a public-magnet school in the San Jose Unified School District that was established in 1986. It is a model for similar programs within the School District and across the country. River Glen has about 60 students per grade level (K-8), which makes our student population around 450. The school's goal is to educate students to be bilingual and biliterate and enable them to meet the challenges of a global society. The River Glen Two-Way Bilingual Immersion Program has received a national award of Academic Excellence and is a California Distinguished School.
