The YVGMS Gem and Mineral Show is part of the Yucaipa city sponsored Music and Arts Festival.  Our Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show is a fundraiser and educational activity focused on the public awareness of earth sciences, the environment, and lapidary arts.  There will be kids’ activities, lapidary displays, gem and jewelry vendors, and a raffle.  We estimate that there will be about 15,000 people attending the Music and Arts Festival.

The YVGMS is a 501c3 non-profit organization (Federal Tax Number: 95-6100571),  open to the public of all ages, with members from 8 to 90 years old.  The YVGMS has educational meetings, hands-on classes using our lapidary shop, field trips, exhibits, and we support local schools and organizations with classroom talks and demonstrations. The funds from the raffle will be used to support our Inland Empire-wide educational activities and operations and our two scholarships to Crafton Hills College and Yucaipa High School.
