Description

Each year we organize a raffle and silent auction fundraising event to raise money to support aquatic restoration projects, aquatic education outreach programs as well as programs that provide fishing opportunities for all age groups. Thanks to our fundraising donors we have been able to provide extra support to the Crayfish Creek Restoration Project to improve the habitat for brown trout populations in North Georgia. Additionally, we have been able to provide support to the Go Fish Education Center and McDuffie Environmental Education Center to purchase supplies and equipment for outdoor educational programs and fishing day camps that are attended by thousands of children each year. Other projects we have been able to support include the Fishing with Mom event and the Georgia Outdoor Woman workshop where women have had a chance to learn about fishing as well as how they can help with the conservation of our fishery resources.
