The Giddy Up Gala is an auction event held on July 23rd, 2015 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY. This is day one of a two-day fundraising effort; combined with a golf scramble the following day. This event has a silent and live auction. If we receive enough donated items, we may also choose to have an online auction leading up to the event. We anticipate approximately 275 attendees. The final push of the evening is a fund-a-need appeal, raising funds specifically for our Barbara L. Curtis Memorial Adoption Fund, gifted to families adopting children with Down syndrome. last year we raised $25,000 for this portion of the evening alone. It is a top-notch, well done evening with a live band and professional auctioneer.
