Angels in Disguise works passionately to change hearts and minds to achieve a world where individuals with Down syndrome are embraced and empowered; and inspire action promoting Down syndrome awareness, celebration, education and support. Our goal is to create the least restrictive environment for individuals with Down syndrome in schools, business and community, allowing these incredible individuals to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams. The only cure we seek is that of public perception.
In addition to a national awareness campaign, Angels in Disguise gives grants throughout the year for families to adopt children with Down syndrome, assist in medical/therapuetic/funeral expenses, as well as awards educational and research grants.
Our events throughout the year to celebrate these unique individuals includes birthday bashes to raise awareness for congenital heart disease and the struggle children go through during their first few years, Hoodie Huddle events with coaches such as Bill Belichick to support active lifestyles and community building, as well as parades, concerts and more!
