On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, the 3rd Annual Glimmer of Hope Golf Tournament in support of Epilepsy York Region (EYR) will take place at Cardinal Golf Club in King, Ontario.  This special event is in place to support those living with epilepsy across York Region in so many ways.  It is the inspiration and primary funder of our Glimmer of Hope Summer Camp for children with epilepsy.  This program provides children with the wonderful experience of a safe and inclusive summer campe, as for many children living with epilepsy, many summer camps come with restrictions and barriers.  This event also helps raise needed funds to support our social work program; and of course, is also a day to raise awareness, erase the stigma, and come together to support our family, friends and neighbours that live with this disease every day.

Epilepsy York Region, an organization that has supported those in the community for 34 years, is so proud to partner with the Lesti Family, who are the inspiration for this day of golf, fun, friends, family, awareness, and support.
