Over the past three decades Epilepsy York Region (EYR) has provided countless hours of support to schools, community groups and health service providers with the necessary information to keep our members, children and families safe.  We have assisted many by providing the resources needed to enhance their quality of life - such as summer/winter camps, education/seizure response seminars for schools and community groups, support programs for parents and adults, child and family programs, social programs, one-on-one support and peer support.  Most importantly, we have been a voice for those who hide behind the stigma, we have been a friend.

MISSION STATEMENT

Epilepsy York Region (EYR) is a charitable organization that:

• Advocates on behalf of individuals with seizure disorders, promotes public awareness of epilepsy and seizure disorders.
• Develops programs based upon the needs of our constituents, and provides educational resources and opportunities.
