Come out for a day on the links to benefit the Fred’s Footsteps’ mission. For the third consecutive year, Fred’s Footsteps Golf Fun Day will return with foursomes playing both Philadelphia Country Club and Gulph Mills Golf Club. The day will kick off with lunch at the respective clubs, followed by golf, and dinner with silent and live auctions back at Philadelphia Country Club. Now in its 13th year, Golf Fun Day is our largest fundraising event, bringing in over $350,000 annually in support of our work with families in the region who are caring for critically ill or injured children. Each year brings 250 golfers and over 350 guests joining us for dinner.
Fred's Footsteps helps working families stay on their feet through a child's illness or injury. We provide direct financial assistance for non-medical expenses, such as household bills, to make up for gaps in income as well as one-time extraordinary expenses, like medical equipment or home modifications. We are the only program in the region that provides this type of bridge—not just momentary help—to families during their time of need.
