On September 30, 2023, Maryvale will be hosting its first annual on-campus fundraiser, Harvest of Hope. This event will feature gourmet food, band, live highlights from our programs serving the community, silent auction, and raffle. We need your help to make it a success!

Maryvale is Los Angeles’ oldest children’s charity founded in 1856 by the Daughters of Charity. Today, in our 168th year, we operate several programs to serve the community. 62% of the children we serve though our Early Childhood Education program receive subsidized care. Community Based Services provide mental health treatment for individuals up to 21 years of age. The Seton House program for unhoused mothers and their young children provides temporary shelter and a six-month program to help these families take steps towards a new future. Connections by Maryvale is our newest program, which provides both mental health and substance use disorder services to adolescents and young adults.

The funds we raise will bridge the gap between the cost of Maryvale’s operations to fully support children and families and the monies we receive from county and state subsidized programs. Our Seton House program for unhoused mothers and their children relies solely on private donations to operate. All proceeds from our auction will be utilized to support the vital needs of the families we serve.
