Description
The Harvey Weil Sportsman Conservationist Award Dinner & Silent Auction, a project of the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi, this year will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Welder Wildlife Foundation Refuge in Sinton, Texas. Ygnacio Garza will receive the Conservationist of the Year award, and Dr. Larry McKinney will receive the Professional Conservationist of the Year award. $60,000+ in grants will be awarded to projects involving marine and wildlife species and their habitats and to issues in support of recreational hunting and fishing.
Optional Foundation tours begin at 4 pm. The open bar and silent auction open at 5 pm and the dinner begins at 7 pm. The award program begins at 8 pm.
