The Harvey Weil Sportsman Conservationist award is a project of the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi. Funds for the award are held at the Coastal Bend Community Foundation. The mission of the project is to support research and education in the conservation of natural resources. At our annual dinner, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and preserve the future with grant awards. Priority is given to those projeccts involiving marine and wildlife species and their habitats and to issues in support of recreational hunting and fishing. Funds from the event and silent auction go into our endowment that provides our grant monies for various conservation projects.
