Description

On Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 the Hawthorne Elementary School foundation will kick off our annual fundraising Auction. The auction will be an in person event on the evening of March 2nd. Hawthorne is a Title I school (a significant percentage of the students are living at or near the poverty level) and is DeKalb County’s only inclusion elementary school (serving students across the county of all abilities side-by-side in each classroom).

The auction is our largest fundraiser of the spring. The funds raised will be used for the following:

● STEM Supplies for the School
● Classroom Supplies for Teachers
● Professional Development
● Teaching Garden and caring for the Chickens
● Beautification and Hallway/Sidewalk Art Murals
