In 2004, our son, Hayden, was born with the Congenital Heart Defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Congenital Heart Defects are the #1 birth defect and impact over 25,000 babies a year in the US alone. Over the past eighteen and a half years, Hayden has received amazing care from the Pediatric Cardiology Department at Johns Hopkins Children's Center. In order to give something back and allow other children to benefit in the same way Hayden has, we decided to organize a charity to benefit Hopkins Pediatric Cardiology. Thanks to the contributions from local businesses, community members, other pediatric cardiology families and our family and friends, we have raised approximately $420,000 since our inception in 2005.

After sixteen golf tournaments, Hayden's Heart Heroes is partnering with Frey’s Brewing Company to host A Day of Fundraising. This event will be a fun-filled day of music, games, food trucks, and fabulous beverages.
