The Hazlet First Aid and Rescue Squad is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1946 consisting of compassionate, caring volunteers striving to make a difference in the lives of others and assist the local community. Since its beginnings, the squad has positively impacted our community. Today, the squad responds to approximately 1,700 calls per year. To face this demand, members receive the best training in first aid and rescue techniques available.  At the present time, there is no cost for the voluntary services provided by the squad. Our main source of income is through fundraising and donations.

Hazlet First Aid will be hosting an afternoon Coffee and Dessert Show and Gift Raffle featuring the Jersey Shore Medium on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Due to today’s tough economic conditions, it makes it difficult for us to meet our ever-growing list of goals without help from people like you.

We write to invite you to join a generous group of community retailers, restaurants and individuals who participate as donors by donating to the raffle for this event. Gift certificates, products, monetary, supplies, etc. are all greatly appreciated. We hope that you can support us in reaching our goals. As a special thank you, we will list your business information in our program free of charge.

To appropriately thank you and acknowledge your generosity, we will list you in the event program that we will distribute to 200 guests. Any donation checks shall be made payable to “The Hazlet First Aid and Rescue Squad.” Kindly have donations sent by January 2, 2024, to:
