Description

Geek Wellness Education is a 501c3 non-profit that uses pop culture as a bridge to introduce mental health information and resources to those who may otherwise slip through the cracks. We even have (when its safe to do so) superheroes visit kids who are battling life-altering illnesses to help encourage them.

Heroes Assemble is a big yearly event. It's similar to a comic convention in that we feature heroic celebrities, cosplay, vendors and plenty of fun and educational activities for kids. We also host a ceremony to honor real life superheroes, this year being local firefighters. We are seeking donations to give to the firefighters that we honor. In exchange, companies who contribute will be promoted as a sponsor of that ceremony on social media and our website, and your logo will appear in a commercial that will be aired on NBC12 (last year we had 32 thousand impressions through that avenue). We will also, of course, have thousands of printed flyers that we'll distribute around the city.

Monetary contributions will be used to help pay for the event, enabling us to do more good work in the community.
