​Hit the links and be part of the Hickey Golf Classic event at the course where it all started 40 years ago! The Hickey Golf Classic is celebrating 40 years of supporting local youth to become tomorrow’s leaders through Scouting. The 40th annual celebration tournament will take place on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Royal Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Royal Club used to be Tartan Park, which is where the 1st Hickey Tournament was held in 1983. Lunch, driving range, and check-in will begin at 10:00 AM with a shotgun start at 12:30PM. After the event, cocktails, silent auction, dinner, raffle results and an award ceremony will take place in the clubhouse.

We appreciate and respect the time you are dedicating to Scouting. As such, the Hickey tournament prides itself on being a fast-paced event. Golfers experience a great round of golf and camaraderie before they head home shortly after an efficient, appetizer-heavy dinner and awards ceremony. To enhance your enjoyment of the day, we will be continuing the two-putt maximum on every hole and a quick check-in process. Returning features include the opportunity to meet an Eagle Scout and the chance to win some great prizes.

Since the start of the tournament, over 4,100 golfers have teed-off to raise more than $3.3 million for Scouting programs that benefit hundreds of thousands of youth in our area. Even with the pandemic, last year our group raised over $140,000 at the event and we hope to raise over $150,000 in 2022.
