Howdown for Hope is the largest event of the year hosted by New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding Foundation, in which we raise money for our yearly therapeutic riding programs and other equine-assisted activities that support adults and children coping with various physical, mental, and social-emotional challenges. We have a particular focus on special programming for local veterans, active military, and first responders facing symptoms of PTSD. Funds raised also support the care and maintenance of our Hero Herd of therapy horses, some of whom are enjoying a "second career" after retiring from years of service with the Chicago Police Mounted Unit.

Hoedown for Hope is a family-friendly evening of dinner, DJ + line dancing, silent auction and raffle prizes, games, and a Live Broadcast from the Hoedown with our friends at WCCQ - Joliet - Today's Country. 

We expect to host approximately 300 new and old friends, and sponsors and donors will receive recognition on-air, on-line, and through the New Beginnings newsletter.
