Event: 3rd Annual "Home" Online Auction

Event Date and Need by Date: Auction, September 5-9, 2023, Need by August 21st

Purpose of Event: All funds will be used to meet the physical needs of children as they entire into the foster care system within our service area of 22 counties in South Georgia. We have raised over $50,000 and served over 5500 foster youth through this single event over the last two year.  This work would not be possible without donors like YOU!

Since 2013, Called to Care has been serving the increasing needs of orphans and children in foster care in our 22-county service area.  Simultaneously, we have also observed the impact of people saying “yes” to partnering with us. We have been a part of families restored and reunified, children fostered in safe and loving homes, and waiting children adopted by their forever family.  We have also been able to serve over 15,000 children, provide over 13,000 “Journey Bags,” and 2500 beds for children affected by the foster care system. We are blessed to say our programs in the areas of “Teen Mentoring” and “Trauma Informed Education” are working to stop the cycle of foster care and its common heartbreaking outcomes of things like incarceration, mental health challenges, homelessness, suicide, drug and alcohol addiction, teen pregnancy, and an exponentially increased probability of being trafficked. Called to Care remains passionate about impacting outcomes by prayerfully investing resources in families who respond to the call to care for orphans through adoption and foster care.
