Hello, I am a volunteer with the Columbia, Missouri Special Education Parent Teacher Association, or CoMO SEPTA for short.   We have a fundraising event coming up soon that I wanted to tell you about.

The Columbia Special Education Parent Teacher Association is a local 501(c)(3) PTA that provides support and resources to families and educators of children with special needs to the entire Columbia Public School District.  CoMO SEPTA has the benefit of supporting students through educational opportunities, developing after school social activities with peer mentors, grants to teachers, workshops, resources, fostering inclusion and being a collective voice for special education needs. 

In an effort to support our children CoMO SEPTA is hosting our fourth annual walk, “In It Together: A Walk for Inclusion” on September 9, 2023 at Cosmo-Bethel Park.  This walk will help educate the community about different abilities, bring awareness to their needs in our schools and most importantly will be a wonderful family, friendly event about inclusion.

If that sounds like a worthy cause, we want to know if you would consider being a sponsor or donating items for this event?  Any type or quantity of donation is welcome and we have varying levels of sponsorship outlined below. Please note that all donations are tax deductible and if your company requires a tax exempt ID, we have attached it above. All physical donations can be mailed to:

Benefits:  Sign with company logo at educational station along the walk route indicating sponsorship.
