On Saturday, June 4, 2022, The Achievable Foundation will celebrate the return of our “It’s Achievable!” Gala. Achievable is a first of its kind nonprofit community health center focusing on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), their families and other vulnerable populations. The event will be held at the Marriott Marina del Rey, California.

At the gala, we will be honoring two champions who have positively impacted healthcare, particularly individuals with I/DD. The Achievable Foundation is proud to announce its 2022 honorees for their excellence in healthcare:

The event will also feature an auction, dinner, and testimonials from our patients and/or their families. All proceeds will benefit The Achievable Foundation's health center, which provides high quality health care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as other vulnerable populations. In 2020, Achievable also expanded its mental health program, which has been particularly critical in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds raised by the event will support longer appointment times, training, special equipment, and more.

The event will feature a variety of videos and live comments about Achievable, its mission, and how it serves patients.

The primary way the event will address healthcare delivery is through net proceeds. For example, Achievable typically requires an additional $100-$200 in funding per patient visit due to longer appointment times, special equipment, and other specialized services. We expect that 1,698 patient visits will be fully funded as a result of the net proceeds budgeted to be raised through this event, representing approximately 17% of the patient visits projected for our current fiscal year.
