Description

The African American Business Association of Will County is hosting our 2nd Annual CEO
Celebration and Awards Gala. The purpose of the banquet is to celebrate and recognize exceptional
CEO’s who demonstrate courage and perseverance in business while being a leader within the Will
County community. We are a non-profit 501 c3 organization working to transform Will County into
Illinois’ most equitable and inclusive economy.
The event will take place on June 17, 2023, in the Clarion Ballroom of the Clarion Convention
Center in Joliet, IL.
The dinner will be attended by more than 500 community members such as: small business owners,
corporate leaders, community leaders, non-profit leaders, faith-based leaders, government officials
and professionals from the medical and educational institutions surrounding the Will County and
State of Illinois at large community.
We are soliciting your help for a donation of a product or service from your business for our silent
auction because it will allow us to continue to carry out our mission to remove barriers and change
policies that block entrepreneurs from accessing opportunities and resources. Each donated item will
be featured in our silent auction brochure along with a prominent mention of your business. Your
contribution will allow AABA to continue our mission of providing resources and build equity in
African American business communities. All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax
deductible.
A donation form for our silent auction items is attached. Please reach out to our administrator
Naurice Moffett at 779-205-8983 9 or via email at info@aabaconnect.org with any questions or to
arrange pick up or retrieval of donations. Thank you for your contribution toward the mission of our
organization. We look forward to sharing in this celebration of business, community, and civic
leaders with you.
