Each spring, KID marks our progress, honors the memory of Danny Keysar, and highlights the contributions of a product safety hero with the Best Friend Award. This year, to celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are calling it the Best Friends Night, to thank all our supporters – you!

Since 1998, our work has brought about many hard-fought victories, including the 2008 Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. Recently, we worked to get the Consumer Product Safety Commission to establish a rule requiring that any infant sleep product meet a safety standard before it can be sold. We also launched the KID Design Safety Toolkit – a free online course to provide entrepreneurs and children’s products companies with the information they need to design, develop, and market products more safely.
