KID’s mission is to save lives by enhancing transparency and accountability through safer product development, better education and stronger advocacy for children. We fulfill our mission by reaching out to caregivers to spread safety awareness and recall information, serving as a watchdog on regulatory agencies and manufacturers, and working with designers and engineers to make safety a top priority coverage, speaking engagements, social media, and web presence and printed materials;
Serves as a watchdog on regulatory agencies and manufacturers to assure safe children’s products and advocates for stronger protections for our most vulnerable consumers. We encourage designers and engineers to build safety into each product and promote the development of the safest products possible for our children. KID’s goal is to create a secure environment for children by ensuring that safer products are manufactured, improving recall effectiveness, and encouraging parents and caregivers to remove dangerous or recalled products from homes and childcare facilities.
