Kid Connections is a Mother’s Day Out and Preschool program dedicated to serving families in Dallas and the surrounding areas. We believe that children learn best through play and hands-on experiences—especially when they have the opportunity to explore the outdoors. Our curriculum is designed to nurture growth in both a traditional classroom setting and an outdoor classroom, providing a well-rounded learning experience. The early years—birth to age 5—are crucial for building the foundation for lifelong learning, and we are committed to helping children thrive during these formative years.

We offer programs for children aged 12 months to 5 years old during the school year (Fall through Spring). Additionally, our Summer Camp, which runs from June to July, welcomes children from 12 months through completed 5th grade.

On April 25th, 2025, Kid Connections will host our highly anticipated Art Show Off and Silent Auction. This special event provides an opportunity for parents and families to come together to celebrate the creative work the children have done throughout the year. It’s also a chance to participate in a silent auction featuring generous donations from local businesses that support the Dallas community.

Each year, we are thrilled to welcome around 350 attendees, including families from Kid Connections, Lake Highlands Baptist Church, and the surrounding neighborhood. The event is open to the public and draws a wonderful crowd of parents, friends, neighbors, and prospective families interested in learning more about our program.

At the event, each class creates a unique art project that will be auctioned off, with all funds raised going back into the classroom to enhance the learning environment. In addition, proceeds from the silent auction help support ongoing improvements at Kid Connections. In previous years, funds have been used to upgrade our Toddler Playground with soft ground and to enhance our Outdoor Classroom, providing children with even more opportunities for exploration and growth.
