The La Ballona PTA is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to advocate for children and to help strengthen our school and community. In addition to advocacy, we raise funds to pay for field trips, assemblies, library books, classroom grants, instructional support, international dance lessons and costumes, and school beautification. 

La Ballona Elementary is a Title 1 School located in Culver City, California serving 600 students in preschool to 5th grade. As a Title 1 school, at least 58% of our student population come from low-income families. Funds raised from the online auction will go towards enrichment classes, arts and music programs, and garden classes. Out of an abundance of caution, we decided to cancel our in-person Fall Festival, an event which usually raises $10,000 for our cause, and focus solely on the online auction. This year we hope to raise at least $15,000 from our fall fundraiser. Anything you are willing to contribute to help us get to our goal is greatly appreciated.

Who does our event reach?

In addition to our students (ages 5-11) and their parents and family members, our auction will reach hundreds of people outside of our school community. We have had winning bidders from all over the United States of all ages. 

How will donors be promoted in the auction: 

All donors will be linked back to their website from our auction pages. Logos and promotional pics can be included, if provided. We will promote our auction on Facebook and Instagram. At the end of the auction, all donors will be included on our Thank You page, complete with links back to donor websites. Thank you for considering our request!
