Founded in 1952, the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA is a non-profit organization that is part of the local, state, and national PTA. Each year, we host an Auction Event in order to rasie funds for several East Dallas schools. We hope we can rely on your support of this year’s LECPTA Auction Party, which is scheduled for Friday, November 8, 2024, at The Empire Room in Dallas. 
In 2023, we were able to distribute $440,000 amongst seven East Dallas public schools: Lakewood Elementary, J.L Long Middle, and Woodrow Wilson High School, Mount Auburn Elementary, Geneva Heights Elementary, Lipscomb Elementary and Oran M. Roberts Elementary.  Six of these schools are Title I eligible; these funds are directly benefiting the educational experience of every child in our community. Our goal is to increase that number in 2024 and extend funds towards security measures in our schools.
The event welcomes around 500+ guests each year which provides great visibility into local businesses. We raise funds through a silent auction, live auction, and raffle. With your generous donation, you and your item will be listed on our Auction Website that reaches every bidder (1000+ Lakewood households), party guest (500+ attendees) and even more across social networks.
