Minuteman Disaster Response (MDR) is a 501 (c)(3) organization that helps rebuild the lives of those affected by natural disasters in communities across Texas and throughout the country. The manpower and services of MDR are provided at no charge to the recipients. Throughout the last year, Minuteman Disaster Response responded to crises such as tornados, floods, and hurricanes in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Vermont, bringing hope to communities in distress. Over the past year, our volunteer base has grown by over 140 members to our highest ever of 426 volunteers in 25 states. So far, in 2023, 134 volunteers donated 5,307 man-hours, with a $158,955 economic impact. Please consider donating an item for our Lamplighter Gala on March 23, 2024 to help us raise $600,000 and continue our disaster response efforts nationwide.
