LaSalle II Magnet School has consistently ranked among the best-performing public elementary schools in Chicago. The purpose of the LaSalle 2 PTO is to  support the school with financial assistance to augment the school’s budget in order to provide the  students a better learning environment, enrichment activities and/or other support for the students.  The PTO funds are sourced from through member donations as well as our many generous community  supports and other donors.  

In the past, funds raised by the PTO have helped pay for a complete replacement of our school public  address systems, new Wi-Fi enabled clocks, remote learning needs, as well as support for the school’s  sports programs and clubs. This year we’re focusing our fundraising efforts to support major  improvements to our outdoor playfield. The existing playfield is in severe disrepair and is unsafe for use  during physical education class. The upgraded field will not only help improve our school but will also  benefit the greater community as many residents come together to enjoy these areas. 

On May 13, 2022 we are planning to host an in-person fundraiser and silent auction at Recess, a bar/restaurant in Chicago.  The silent auction will close on May 16th.  There will  be various sponsorship opportunities available at the in person event and on our web and social media platforms for those interested. 

Would your company be interested in donating a product or service and/or sponsoring the event? All donations and sponsorships will be promoted on various displays at the school, event, social media and through the school’s newsletter.
