To help augment the school’s budget, the PTO and many generous donors have helped support our annual fundraising activities. Past funds raised at these events have helped pay for a complete replacement of our school public address system and clocks as well as COVID related masks for students, outdoor planters, playground and murals were all parents driven, community initiatives that help offset the school’s sports programs and clubs. This year we’re aiming to raise funds to make major improvements to our outdoor playfield.
Additional Accomplishments to date
- We created a Parent Room for all parents to have a place to meet to conduct committee meetings, have coffee, or just hang out before or after chaperoning a field trip.
- The PTO supports our teachers with monies for supplies and professional development. We also purchase additional school supplies to reduce the costs for parents.
- The PTO takes parent concerns and helps bring real change to issues as varied as recess, homework, testing and bullying.
