The 15th Annual Lavender Festival in Historic Jackson Square, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, offers great food, fun activities for children, interesting herb demonstrations, crafts, antiques, music and much more. SARG participates as its been proven that animals also assist in keeping people young and healthy. We will be having baskets with items for adults, animals, children to bid on. The proceeds from these baskets will help those in the community who might have to give up their beloved pet due to not having the resources for a large emergency vet bill. After determination of the bill with the vets office and the condition, SARG will assist with part or sometimes all of the bill thus helping the person to keep their animal. SARG must raise funds in order to do this as we have very large vet bills of our own.
