"Let's Make it thru 4th Marking Period" project is one that I created years ago when I noticed how much the students' attentions waned during the spring. Their focus, motivation, and engagement decreased significantly and their grades dropped as a result. 

This 9-week-long project has many components that the students engage in daily to earn as many points as possible. They compete with the other students in their classes. At the end of the 9 weeks, we have a big raffle event, where all of their points turn into raffle tickets and they can try to win prizes. 

With your help, we can motivate these kids way beyond what they ever knew they could accomplish. 

Half of my students have disabilities and are part of the special education program here at the high school. This project really helps them increase their participation during class, seek additional help before school and at lunch, dress professionally, increase their overall work ethic, and become better students. 

EVERY PRIZE that is DONATED is ADVERTISED to them and their families, the company is promoted for months leading up to our event. We are very grateful and hope to provide additional exposure for generous companies that help.
