Light Up the Night is a celebration of 45+ years of educational excellence for Richmond Community High School a Richmond City Public Schools. The school was founded as a public private partnership to establish a pathway to college for students from disadvantage backgrounds and primarily students of color. The school which serves 100% of students on the free lunch program has had stellar success in seeing over 98% of students attend college post graduation.

The event will include alumni, community members, City leaders, and parents. The event will raise much needed funding to improve technology access at the school. Because of limited funding, the school does not have the same access to equipment and academic funding as their peer schools throughout the greater Richmond Metropolitan Area.  The event is hosted by the nonprofit, Friends of Richmond Community High Schools, a 501c3 in good standing. 

The event includes music, dancing, casino games, bar, food, and both a raffle and silent auction. We appreciate any support or donations to make this event a big success.
