Description
The Candlelighters Lights of Courage event is our largest annual fundraising effort. Every year, this event gives Candlelighters the opportunity to honor young people who serve as "lights of courage" through their battle with cancer. Our yearly honorees represent the thousands of children living with childhood cancer right here in Houston.
2021 brought along changes to our event as we transitioned from a daytime luncheon to an evening soiree at the Houston Polo Club! Last year was a record-breaking year, raising almost $500,000 for our programs and services helping families with a child with cancer. This event hosts a robust raffle, along with an exciting Live Auction, combined raising almost $150,000 last year!
