I am writing to share a meaningful organization that I am deeply involved with at the University of Pennsylvania – Kesem. Kesem is a national network of free, week-long sleepaway camps for children affected by a parent’s cancer. We also plan year-round programming such as grief support, virtual cabin chats, and birthday cards. Each summer, camp and year-round support programming is completely organized, planned, and fundraised for by college students – like me – at university chapters across the country.
